Monthly or yearly? It is the first decision anyone buying IPTV has to make, and the headline prices do not tell the whole story. In this guide we work out what each plan length really costs over a year, when paying monthly makes sense, and when a longer plan is simply the better deal.
The short answer
If you will watch all year, the yearly plan saves the most by a wide margin. A full year of monthly payments costs €228. The 12 Months plan covers the same twelve months for €75, which is €6.25 a month and a saving of €153.
If you are not sure yet, or you are only in Cyprus for part of the year, a shorter plan can still be the right choice. The rest of this article explains how to decide.
What each plan really costs
The most useful way to compare plans is to ask: “If I watched for a whole year using only this plan length, what would I pay?” Here is the answer for every plan we offer.

Two things stand out. First, the cost per month falls steeply as the plan gets longer. Second, the biggest single jump in value comes from moving from monthly payments to any longer plan: even the 3 Months plan saves €20 on every three months compared with paying monthly.
Monthly IPTV: when paying monthly makes sense
A 1 Month plan at €19 has the lowest single payment, and that has real advantages:
- Trying the service first. If you want to see how the picture looks on your own TV and your own internet line before committing, one month is the low-risk way to do it.
- A short stay. Visiting a holiday home for a fortnight or a few weeks? There is no point paying for months you will not use.
- Uncertain plans. If you might move house or leave the island soon, flexibility can be worth more than the saving.
The downside is cost over time. Paying monthly for a year costs €228, more than three times the price of the 12 Months plan.
Yearly IPTV: when a 12 Month plan wins
The 12 Months plan is our Best Value option for a reason. At €75 for the year, it works out at €6.25 a month, the lowest monthly cost we offer. It makes sense when:
- You live in Cyprus year-round. If the TV is on most evenings, you will use every month you pay for.
- You have already tried the service. Once you know it works well on your setup, there is little reason to keep paying the monthly price.
- You prefer not to think about renewals. One payment, then nothing to remember until next year.
Because every plan includes exactly the same features, you are not trading anything away by choosing the cheaper monthly rate. The only difference is the length.
The middle ground: 3 and 6 Month plans
Not everyone fits neatly into “a month” or “a year”. The two middle plans cover the situations in between.
3 Months for a season
At €37 (€12.33 a month), the 3 Months plan suits a summer in Cyprus, a winter escape from colder climates, or a sports season you want to follow.
6 Months for a split year
At €52 (€8.67 a month), the 6 Months plan suits people who divide their year between Cyprus and somewhere else, or who like to review their spending twice a year.
One thing to note: two 6 Months plans back to back cost €104, while one 12 Months plan costs €75. If you already know you will watch for the full year, the yearly plan is cheaper.
A simple way to decide
Answer these questions in order and stop at the first “yes”:
- Have you never used our service before and want to test it? Start with 1 Month. You can move to a longer plan when you renew.
- Will you watch for most of the next twelve months? Choose 12 Months for the lowest monthly cost.
- Will you watch for roughly half the year? Choose 6 Months.
- Is it a single season or a summer stay? Choose 3 Months.
- Only a few weeks? Choose 1 Month.

A household in Nicosia that watches all year
Paying monthly would cost €228 over the year. The 12 Months plan costs €75. That is a saving of €153 for exactly the same service.
A couple spending the summer in Paphos
Three monthly payments would cost three times €19. The 3 Months plan costs €37, saving €20 across the stay.
A family splitting the year between Limassol and abroad
For six months in Cyprus, the 6 Months plan at €52 saves €62 compared with paying monthly for the same period.

Common mistakes when comparing IPTV prices
- Comparing headline prices only. €75 looks bigger than €19, but it buys twelve times as much viewing. Always compare the cost per month.
- Forgetting renewals. Monthly plans feel cheap until you add up twelve of them.
- Ignoring what is included. A low price that excludes features you need is not a bargain. Check that support, catch-up and picture quality are part of the plan, not extras.
- Not testing first. If you have never used IPTV on your connection, one month is cheap insurance before committing to a year.
What about renewing?
Plans do not renew automatically, which suits both approaches. If you pay monthly, you simply message us before each month ends.
